Step 1) Open Student Login Section : Click Here (New Tab)

  • Select  (Application No/Roll No)
  • Enter Your Application No/Roll No
  • Enter your Date of Birth
  • Click "Login"

Step 2) Check your Result

If you do not get any seat allotment, you have to wait for the next round counseling.


If you get an allotment, you have to click on "View Result/Allotment Letter" to check your allotted institute.

Step 3) Choose Admission or  Auto-Upgradation

Please Choose any one option 

Option 1) (for Admission to Allotted Seat - Direct Admission)

NO, I don’t want to participate in Auto Upgradation. I am satisfied with my present Allotment.
Note:  If you do not participate in Auto Upgradation, then you have to take printout of your “Provisional Allotment Letter” and report to the Institute where you have been allotted within the specified date mentioned in the Provisional Allotment Letter with all testimonials and documents. In case you don't report to the respective institute with in specified date and time,your present seat allocation will be cancelled.

Option 2) (to wait for a better Allotment in next counseling)

YES, I want to participate in Auto Upgradation.
Note:  In case you wish to participate in auto-upgradation, your present allotted seat may be upgraded to any one of the following seats as per your given priority during next phase of counseling upon availability of vacant seats. In case of auto upgradation to any of the following seats from the present allotted seat, the present allotted seat will be cancelled.otherwise your previously allotted seat will remain unchanged. 

Step 4) Print Allotment Letter or  Opted for Auto-Upgradation

If you want to take admission to the institute you have been allotted, you should take a printout of your Allotment Letter, follow the instruction provided in your "Allotment Letter" and get admitted.

If you opted for Auto Upgradation then you will see like following  image in your my status section and wait for the next round counseling result publication.

How to take Admission to Institutes after WBSCVT ITI Seat Allotment ?

Online Choice filling of ITI is going on and the date of choice filling/modification has been extended upto /-/ and the Result of ITI Online Counseling have been delayed and will be published on /-/. The candidates who have filled their choices online will may be allotted a seat based on their merit rank of Entrance Test. When the ITI Counseling result will be published the candidates have to view the result/allotted seat by loging into their counseling profile. If allotted the allotted seat will be shown and the Allotment Letter will available for downloading. Take a printout of the Allotment Letter and now collect the necessary documents required at the time of admission. All the original certificates and testimonials for entry qualification along-with a set of self attested copies, Admit card of Entrance test, the copy of merit rank and seat confirmation sleep need to be produced at the time of admission. All necessary fees should be paid mandatorily at the time of admission.

REQUIRED Documents at the time of Admission

For E Group

Documents to be submitted at the time of Admission
For "E" Group of trades.
  1. Self attested copy of final mark-sheet/certificate of Class VIII.
  2. Self attested copy of certificates for S/C, S/T, P/H (if any). A candidate should have certificate in his/hername only for availing admission under any reserve seat (SC/ST/PH).
  3. Self attested copy of certificate issued by the head of the institute mentioning date of birth, full marks and marks obtained in the Class VIII final examination in prescribe format as given in (FORMAT-I).
  4. Self attested copy of certificate issued by the councilor/ Panchyat Pradhan/MLA/MP in the prescribe proforma mention under (FORMAT-II).
  5. Medical certificate of fitness issued by a medical practitioner of MBBS or its equivalent degree as per prescribed format available in the www.wbscvt.net .

  7. * All related fees as mentioned in the admission guidelines to be deposited at the time of admission at the respective Institute.visit www.wbscvt.net for fees structure for IMC Sponsored candidates for admission in Govt. ITIs / ITCs / Jr. Polytechnics.

    *Date & time of reporting for admission: 19th Aug 2014 to 22nd Aug 2014 on all working days from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

    *If a candidate is not admitted with in 22.08.2014 in the allotted seat , the seat will be treated as vacant.
Note:The seat has been allocated provisionally, subject to verification as well as submission of all testimonials and deposition of fees at the concerned ITI.

For M Group

Documents to be submitted at the time of Admission
For "M" Group of trades.
  1. Self attested copy of certificates like age-proof / Admit card of Madhyamik or equivalent examination, mark-sheet and certificate of Madhyamik or equivalent examination.
  2. Self attested copy of S/C, S/T, P/H certificate (if any). A candidate should have certificate in his/her name only for availing admission under any reserve seat (SC/ST/PH).
  3. Self attested copy of certificate in a prescribed proforma given in FORMAT- III, regarding location of the school to be issued by the head of the institution from where he/she has acquired minimum entry qualification.
  4. Medical certificate of fitness issued by a medical practitioner of MBBS or its equivalent degree as per prescribed format available in the www.wbscvt.net .

Collecting all the requisites for admission now visit to the ITI/ITC/Jr Polytechnic Institute within 3 days from the date of result publication where you have been allotted and get admitted to the institute. Admission once taken can not be changed. In case, if you do not like the Trade allotted to you then you may wait for next round of counseling to get a better Trade of your choice. While choosing for next round counseling make sure that you have activated the option for next phase counseling such as Auto-Upgradation.

Fee Structure of ITI :

Following fees for 1st semester (6 months) to be paid by the candidates at the time of admission at the concerned Govt. ITI/ITC/JP. Rest of the fees need to be paid by the student at the beginning of every semester.

Fee to be paid by a Normal Student at the time of Admission is Rs. 560/- approx.

Fee to be paid by a IMC Quota Student at the time of Admission is Rs. 2880/- approx.

Reservation of seats:

10% of total seats are reserved for woman candidates, 22% of total seats are reserved for SC candidates,
6% of total seats are reserved for ST candidates and 3% of total seats are reserved for Physically Challenged candidates. Seats reserved for ST candidates will be converted to SC category seats on unavailability of ST candidates and vice-versa. In case of unavailability of SC and ST candidates, seats reserved for both of the categories will be converted to General seats. Seats reserved for PH candidates will be converted to General category seats on unavailability of PH candidate. Seats reserved for women candidates will be converted to General category seats on unavailability of women candidates.

40% of total seats are reserved for the candidates who passed the entry qualification from the schools located within the district where the concerned Govt. ITI/ITC/JP is located, named as District Quota seats.

The following six(6) major ITIs shall not have any district quota seats:

a) ITI, Gariahat.
b) ITI, Tollygunj.
c) ITI, Howrah Homes.
d) ITI, Kalyani.
e) ITI, Hooghly.
f) ITI, Durgapur

All other general reservation rules such as SC,ST,PH & WOMAN quota will be applicable for District Quota seats .For availing the district quota seats applicant’s need a certificate in the prescribed proforma as
shown in FORMAT-II for ‘E’ group of trade & FORMAT III for ‘M’ group of trade. Production of the said
certificate at later stage or at the stage of counseling would not be entertained.

One seat in each of the “E” group of Trades will be kept reserved for inmates (boys and girls) of the State
Welfare Homes having educational qualification of class VIII pass.

What is IMC Quota & Reservation of Seats for IMC Quota:

20% of total seats will be reserved for Institute Management Committee (IMC) quota. Candidates willing
to avail the admission under IMC quota shall have to select the IMC quota option in the Application Form
(OMR/Online). However the seats reserved for IMC quota will be filled up after 1st phase of counseling
based on the merit position of the willing candidates. Fees for IMC sponsored candidates are @ Rs.
2500/- for 6 months courses and @ Rs. 5000/- per year for 1 year and 2 year courses.

Seats of Four Women ITI:

All the seats of four Govt. Women ITI viz. Women ITI at Kolkata, Banipur, Burdwan and Siliguri are
reserved for women candidates only. In case sufficient women candidates are not available vacant seats
will be filled up by male candidates based on the choice of trades and merit position of Candidates.
