Public Service Commission of West Bengal (PSCWB) has published a notice for Preliminary Screening Test for Recruitment to the Posts of motor Vehicles Inspector (Non-Technical) under Transport Department, Government of West Bengal.

Preliminary Screening test (MCQ) Type for the posts of Motor Vehicles Inspector (non-technical) under Transport Department, Govt of W.B. [Advt. No.12(3)/2013] is scheduled to be held on the 27th April, 2014 (Sunday) from 12:00 noon - 1:30 p.m at different venues at Kolkata.
Admit cards have been sent to the candidates by post. Candidates not receiving the admit cards within 22nd April, 2014 may download the same from the Commission's Website http://www.pscwb.org.in However, such candidates must bring with them any one of the following documents, in original, as a proof of their identity:-
1. Madhyamik or equivalent examination pass certificate/admit card which bears his/her photograph.
2. Passport
3. PAN Card
4. U.I.D Card
5. EPIC (Voter Card)
6. Driving License.

Syllabus of Motor Vehicle Inspector
Full Marks : 200Duration : 1 Hour 30 Minutes
Total number of Questions will be 100 (75 questions on General Studies including Science & Humanities and 25 questions on Arithmetic problems). Questions on Arithmetic problems will be of Madhyamik Standard of W.B.B.S.E Each question will carry 2 marks.
General Studies including Science & Humanities : 75 Marks
Arithmetic Problem : 25 Marks
Total > 100 Marks
