Admission Notes :
The dates of admission to various P.G. Programmes (Session 2015-17) under the Faculty Council of Arts etc. will be as follows:
Dates for admission to University Departments : 03/09/2015, 04/09/2015, 07/09/2015, 08/09/2015 from 11 a.m. to 03 p.m. in the concerned Department.
Date for admission to various colleges and in the vacant seats, if any, after first round of admission in the University Departments : 09/09/2015 from 11 a.m. to 03 p.m. in the concerned Department.
The admission of the students of M.A. in Women’s Studies will be conducted in the Department of History, Golapbag, B.U. , the admission of the students of M.A. in URDU will be conducted in the Department of Hindi, Golapbag, B.U. and the admission of the students of M.A. in Rabindra Sangeet and M.A. in Hindusthani Classical Vocal Music will be conducted in the Office of the Secretary, Faculty Council of Arts etc. , Rajbati, Burdwan as per the schedule mentioned above.

Documents and testimonials required at the time of admissions.
- Original and PhotoCopy of mark-sheets of all public examinations passed.(from class 10th Standard to Graduation).
- Original and Photo Copy of Birth Certificate/ Admit Card of Madhyamik or equivalent examinations.
- Printed Copy of Rank Card, (available in online admission website, see left panel after login).
- Printed Copy of Application form, (available in online admission website, see left panel after login).
- Printed Copy of Anti-Ragging Form.
- *Original and Photo Copy Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribes / OBC-A/ OBC-B/ Differently Abled/ Sports certificate issued in favour of the candidates.
- *Demand Draft (for Draft Amount, Download and See Fee Chart) (Only for the candidates who will take admission in BU Campus)
Result Merit List & Admission Schedule :
- Publication of Results of Admission Test (40% of total Intake) and Merit Category (60% of total Intake) on 30.08.2015.
- Admission will Start From 03/09/2015 Onwards.
Admission Fee ::
Candidates who will be Admitted are Required to Pay Admission Fee Only through A/C Payee Demand Draft. The Draft Should be drawn in favor of FINANCE OFFICER, THE UNIVERSITY OF BURDWAN and payable of Burdwan.
* Candidate who will take admission in Master Degree (PG Course) in Colleges under Burdwan University should pay Admission Fee according to Fee Chart of the College.

Students are requested to download the anti ragging form and sign on it. This self signatory form is mandatory documents for admission.
