OASIS Scholarship 2016; OASIS - Online Application for Scholarship in Studies. Its a Online Application System for Providing Scholarship to the SC/ST/OBC Students of West Bengal. The full form of OASIS is Online Application for Scholarship in Studies. Backward Classes Welfare Department of West Bengal is responsible for maintaining the system.

Online Registration of NEW/Fresh OASIS Application (www.oasis.gov.in) has been started for the academic session 2016-2017 for the below mentioned districts.

Burdwan, Hooghly, Bankura, Howrah, Jalpaiguri, Birbhum, Coochbehar, Dakshin Dinajpur, Uttar Dinajpur, Alipurduar, Purulia, Paschim Medinipur, Siliguri Darjeeling, Murshidabad, Nadia & Kolkata.

#Note 1:) Renewal Application for the academic session 2016-2017 will be started shortly.

#Note 2:) Please Link your Aadhaar No with OASIS Application.

#Note 3:) If you do not find your School Name in the list then you should contact to District Office with school details.

OASIS Scholarship General Information ?

This OASIS Online Application system first launched in the year 2013. Every year when the academic year of school/college is started from then OASIS Online Application (New/Renewal) is accepted. 

Type of OASIS Scholarship ?

There are two types of Scholarship category

#1) Scholarship for Pres-Matric Students :

Pre matric scholarship is being granted to the students of class IX to X and only to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes. OBC candidates are not granted scholarship in pre matric level.

  

#2) Scholarship for Post-Metric Students :

Post matric scholarship is given to the students of Class XI onwards and further higher studies. all SC/ST/OBC students can avail scholarship from class XI onwards.

Who are Eligible for OASIS Scholarship ?

Students of Reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC under Government of West Bengal are Eligible for OASIS Scholarship. SC & ST Students who are studying in class IX (nine) and onwards are eligible and OBC Students studying in class XI (11th) and onwards.

What Documents are the Required for OASIS Scholarship ?

OASIS NEW/Fresh Registration Required Documents :

1. One Copy Passport Size Photograph
2. Caste Certificate / Acknowledgement of Caste Certificate
3. Bank Account Information.
4. Aadhaar Card.

OASIS Renewal Registration Required Documents :

1. Acknowledgement Slip of Previous Year's Registration.
2. Aadhaar No (If not seeded earlier).
3. Details of Present Course of Study. Start Date & End Date.

Documents Required at the time of Form Submission :

1. 3 Page Application Printout after Online Registration duly signed 
2. One Recent Passport Size Photograph Pasted on Application
3. Attested copy of Caste Certificate / Acknowledgement
4. Attested copy of Result/Marksheet of Last Passed Examination.
5. Copy of Aadhaar Card
