Some Assistant Engineers and Technical Assistant to be appointed in Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA). The application process has been completed and Municipal Service Commission will be conducting the exam. The dates of Examination and Syllabus has already been announced by MSCWB.
The recruitment examination will be held in 2 (two) stages, viz
Written Examination (200 marks): OMR based written examination of 200 marks consisting of multiple choice, objective type of 100 questions carrying 2 (two) marks each will be conducted. There will be negative marking of 1 (one) mark each for every incorrect / wrong answer. The Examination will be on the standard of Course content of the minimum Qualification indicated for concerned post mentioned in the Advertisement No. 5 of 2013. Question will be set in English and time allowed will be 2 (two) hours.
Personality Test / Interview (40 marks): Candidates about 3 (three) times of the vacancy, will be called on merit basis for Personality Test / Interview, subject to obtaining qualifying marks @ 45% for General Candidates, @ 40% O.B.C. (A) & O.B.C. (B) Candidates and @ 35% for S.C., S.T. & P.H. Candidates.
However, the Commission reserves the right to relax the qualifying marks for all or any category of Candidates depending upon the situation. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in the Written Examination & Personality Test / Interview.

Admit Cards for the above Examination have already been dispatched to all eligible Candidate(s) by post. In case of non-receipt of Admit Card, Candidate may contact Office of the Municipal Service Commission on 07th & 08th August, 2014 between 11.00A.M. and 4.00 P.M. for issuing Duplicate Admit Card(s). Candidates are requested to bring proper documents along with recent two passport size photographs.
