About WBUTTEPA: WBUTTEPA is a newly formed State University that look afters research, training, planning and administration of Education. The West Bengal Teachers' Training, Education Planing and Administration is the full form of WBUTTEPA (Erstwhile David Hare Training College). WBUTTEPA runs various courses under one roof. Courses like B.Ed, M.Ed, Bp.EdM.Phil, P.Hd are being offered by this university. B.Ed courses of Kalyani University, Calcutta University, WB State University, Barasat is now affiliated under WBUTTEPA with effect from 12/02/2016.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course conducted by the Government colleges, Government-aided colleges and Self-financing private colleges (including colleges run by minorities), which are presently affiliated under the University of Calcutta, the Kalyani University and the West Bengal State University, Barasat shall be deemed to have come under the affiliation of the West Bengal University of Teachers' Training, Education Planing and Administration and simultaneously, shall be deemed to have ceased to be affiliated under the University of Calcutta, the Kalyani University and the West bengal State University, Barasat respectively.
