Job Description

-Ensuring successful execution of allocating testing tasks including testing execution, discussing defects within team / with project team, logging defects in a tool and reporting to Team lead / Test manager, as required.
-Good experience of manual, automated testing throughout the testing life cycle.
-Should be conversant with databases and in writing testing queries (e.g. SQL queries).
-Understand the application and write test scripts/conditions using a tool (e.g. Test Director/ Configuration management tools) and its review.
-Experience to carry out Test execution, logging of defects, preparation of daily test logs, updation of Requirements Traceability Matrix.

Requirements

-3-5 years of experience in a Software organisation on testing (Web technologies, Client/ Server). Some experience in development may also be considered.
-Good SQL knowledge and using this to conduct mass data reconciliation testing Experience in writing/understanding stored procedures.
-Understand the Requirements and should be able to build testcases.
-Experience in Data warehousing with ETL testing. Experience of data manipulation tools e.g. Trillium.
-Knowledge of automation framework and impletementation will be added advantage.
-Formal certifications in Testing (ISEB, CSTE) will be an added advantage.
-Good verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of financial domain will added advantage
- B.E. / M Tech / MCA / MBA from a reputed institute
